Tina Palmer – A fun Boat trip in Dalyan
We visited Dalyan in 2015 and ended up having 3 boat trips with Mesut and his lovely family. Our first in the daytime with his cousin, and his lovely Mum provided a wonderful spread. The highlights apart from the beautiful scenery, was crab fishing. The BBQ crab supper was well worth the effort. We also managed to see the Turtles, photographing them was not so easy. The family are so lovely and took great care of my Turkish Mother-in-law who is getting on in years. We did an Evening trip on my Niece’s birthday and couldn’t resist a third trip where we met Mesut’s Dad and Sister. I may not make it back to Dalyan this year but will be back soon.

Our third trip with Mesut today. The Galip Beyy has had an impressive make-over since our last trip in July 2015… but we don’t book for the BOAT we book for the CAPTAIN. Mesut has natural empathy, people skills and charisma. He is charming, funny and attentive but knows when to be invisible. Mesut’s mum, Susanna, presents restaurant quality, authentic, Turkish cuisine. Beautiful boat, best chef on the river, nicest captain in Dalyan. The best part of our holiday was, is, and will be Mesut & The Galip Beyy.

Have been out with Mesut every time we visit Dalyan once or twice a year. Each trip has been great even when we took our then 2-year-old granddaughter. All needs catered for and Suzan is lovely and her food fabulous.

Dalyan Mesuts BOATs is our go to every year!Beautiful family. Their trips are truly fantastic along with their delicious home grown & freshly cooked food by Mamma Suzan. Nothing is too much trouble. Whether you stay local around Dalyan or go out to sea you will not be disappointed. Xx

We have had several private trips with Mesut Ertekin and his family…we all agreed the meal we had was definitely up there as the best we had in Dalyan….thankyou Suzan….and that is praise indeed. Fabulous in every way…Mesut’s wife even gave my daughter a shoulder rub when she got a little nervous of a ‘slightly’ rough sea!….2 trips already booked for this year…here’s hoping we get there …cannot wait x
